§ 1 Who we are
This policy explains how Northspire Solutions Ltd. ("Northspire", "we", "us") handles personal information collected through this website. We provide consulting and analysis services from Toronto, Ontario. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Ontario law.

§ 2 What we collect
We collect what you choose to send us and a small amount of technical data needed to run the site.
Contact and service request forms
- your name and email address (required);
- a phone number (optional);
- a subject and a message or project brief (optional);
- for a service request, the title of the service you selected.
Shortlist and engagement request
The shortlist lets you collect packages and scope units. It is a request, not a purchase, and the site does not take payments. When you send an engagement request we receive:
- your name and email address (required);
- a phone number and a company name (optional);
- your province or territory;
- a project brief (optional);
- the contents of your shortlist: package names, from-prices, scope units and the indicative total.
What we do not collect
The site does not ask for payment card or bank details, or any government identification. Please do not put confidential documents, account numbers or such information in the free-text fields.
§ 3 Why we collect it
- to reply to your message and to prepare a written scope and quote;
- to keep your shortlist available while you browse;
- to protect the site and its forms against spam and misuse, and to fix technical problems;
- to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Under PIPEDA we rely on your consent, which you give by submitting a form. We do not use this information for automated decision-making.
§ 5 Embedded map
The Contacts page can show a Google Maps frame. It loads only after you press "Load map". When it loads, your browser connects to Google, which may receive your IP address and technical browser data and may set cookies under its own policy. If you never press the button, no request is made.
§ 7 Retention
We keep contact and engagement requests for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and for the period required for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Shortlist and session data are stored against your browser session and may be cleared periodically. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
§ 8 Your rights
Under PIPEDA you may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to withdraw your consent (subject to legal or contractual limits), and to ask questions or make a complaint about how we handle it. Contact us as described below; we may need to confirm your identity first.
§ 9 Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information sent through this site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
§ 10 Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
§ 11 Complaints
If you have a concern, contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
